Hosting Questions

  • What is the difference in a party being hosted and not being hosted by Yardwars? 
    • Hosted parties include us running the event for two hours, managing the Nerf battles with Music included. One Host and one Helper will run the event. 
    • At an un-hosted party we will set up the equipment and go over some suggested games . The Yardwars employee will leave and come back at the end of the party to break down and account for all equipment.
  • I want to save some money and host myself, what will Yardwars do to help this? 
    • We will take care of the set up and break down. 
    • The Yardwars personnel will go over the rules and game reference book.   i. Ask any questions to them during this time about running the games.     


Indoor Facility

  • What is the address of the indoor facility?   
    • 22955 Tomball Pkwy, Tomball, TX 77375 Suite #9
  • How big is the indoor facility play area? 
    • The play area is about ¾ the size of a basketball court 
  • What about bringing my own decorations? 
    • You are welcome to come 30 min prior to the party to set up your decorations. 
    • Do not bring glitter or party poppers please, they are very difficult to clean up. 
  • What about food and drinks? 
    • You are welcome to order pizza (Marcos pizza will give you a discount if you mention Yardwars) or bring food (not messy food please)
    • The party will break before the end time to allow for food/drinks/cake.     


Bad weather

  •   What happens if it rains or snows on that day? 
    • If it snows….. Rejoice… this is Houston! 
    • Rain policy We will refund or reschedule your party with no extra charge if you cancel your event with us 3 -6 hours prior to the event and the rain chances are greater than 50% at the time of cancellation.
    • Remember that we can hold the party indoors at your location or ours (our location will be determinate on availability)  If you are to move the party indoors we need to know the day prior if you need us to prepare for that. 
  • How do I have an outdoor party in the summer months in Texas when it is so HOT? 
    • Make sure you have a couple of shaded areas in your battle field. Pay very close attention to the participants to make sure they do not get dehydrated.  
    • When we host the party there are many micro breaks for them to hydrate. 
    • Prepare snow cones or ice cream (but please not on the equipment or guns). 
    • Have a water-mister/misting fans available for the participants as well. 



  • How do we pay for the party?
    • There is a required deposit of 100.00 at time of booking.
    • Remaining Balance will be due at the event.
  • What forms of payment do you take?
    • We prefer Venmo (a paypal company) or personal Check for the final payment and deposit.


Custom Guns

  • What is included when you make a custom gun for me? 
    • For mechanical type guns (Single fire and Snipers) they are modified to shoot farther by removing the air restrictors and or adding a modified spring if requested. 
    • Painted up to 3 colors of your choice with a name included on the gun. 
      • Most common paint styles are camo and antiquing (See custom gun page on the website for ideas) 
    • We use only new guns for our custom guns.  



  • Can the participants bring their own guns? 
    • For hosted parties we do not allow for personal guns. 
    • Our guns are modified and color coded for teams 
    • You may allow for participants to bring personal weapons if you are just renting our equipment, but we advise against it. 
  • Can I have an indoor party as well?
    • Yes, we support both indoor and outdoor location set up.
    • Sand bags are also available for outdoor locations that cannot use nails. 
  • Does Yardwars have insurance? 
    • Yes we are fully insured, so you can book a park for the event/party if you wish.
